In a few weeks, a short story of mine called “Exit, Horatio” will come out in the anthology A Light in The Darkness. My protagonist is murdered in the second scene. I could have written a story in which he didn’t die, but I couldn’t have written this story without him dying. This is the story of what happens next.

LOL, I have to admit, I like Regina as the main evil element, but I think Mr. Gold is the best bet for another villain. Not because he’s evil, but because he’s the one most inclined to want to stay and his motivation for creating the curse has not been fulfilled. Keep in mind, despite the element of dark magic around him, Rumple balances Regina’s magic. There opposites of the same coin, you just never know which one is the lesser of the two evils.

I tried it and found it difficult to think of never having written the story before. I had to change the way I thought of writing it but I made some progress at least.

I’m in! Writing a story that’s new to me, and though I’ve done the plotting, it’s different than anything else I’ve ever done. It’s new to me. I’m new since my breakdown. It’s the first time since the breakdown I’m attempting to really write– not just finish something I started midstream. So, this is the new me doing something. I can do this!

I do love that, which is why I still get hardcover and paperback books but there is a convenience to an eReader especially at night.
