There’s been a lot going on in my world over the last few months. So I do have a some updates. One is that the books in the Del Fantasma line at Apsen Mountain Press are no longer available for sale. I’ve requested my rights back. If you’ve found the book for sale anywhere, please let me know. I’m not going to get into reasons why I took my rights back or the state of the business. I’m just going to say that I plan on re-writing and expanding on the series and hope to make it available again  in the future and that I’ve taken my rights back.

Over the past few months I’ve been struggling with exhaustion, depression and health issues (nothing serious).Which is why I haven’t been keeping up with the site much. I plan on rectifying that with looking at schedules for guest blogs and looking at other ways of promotion. For now, I’m concentrating on my writing and getting back into the swing of things. I feel that I’m emerging from my burn out with not only new creative ideas but new energy towards writing. So, I’ll try to keep up with things and keep all of you who read this blog posted.

Hi Everyone!

Currently I’m battling the tail end of a cold that’s kicked my butt for the last week. I hate feeling tired. Ugh. Anyway. I’m currently working on Last Call Europe: Dog Sled. I’m up to 20k with it and hopefully will have it done by the end of the week. It has a release date of April 30th. *Grin*

I just started edits for Bedtime Stories: Inspiration which is due out April 2nd. So you have two dates for April.

This month I have Sex and Chocolate: Chocolate Bliss due out on the 15th the same day as the fabu authors: Mina Carter, Cat Marsters and Anne Kane have books out. So excited! (Pssst I just finished reading Cat’s Almost Human, LOVED it). We’re gonna have an all day party on the Changeling Reader loop so please stop by and party with us.

Especially Michelle Hasker, she might get out the flogger. *whimper*

Loose Id’s Readers’ Retreat at Coffee Time Romance Starts Monday!
Some exciting events and activities have been planned! Here is just a sampling:
Lissa Matthews and Suzanne Rock will be interviewing each other on 1 March and 18 March.
On 7 March, Ali Katz will give away a copy of her book, The Highwayman. Also, anyone who visits her guestbook and signs on that day will be entered into Passion in Spades Monthly Drawing for March. She will also announce a monthly drawing on 9 March, so look for that.
On 8 March, G.G. Royale will post the humorous article “Everything I Needed to Know about Treating Other People I Learned on a Kittenplay Forum.”
S.W. Vaughn will give a title away on 10 March. The reader will get to chose from three different titles.

On 7 March, we’ll have historical, westerns, and action/ adventure. I’m working on my next Last Call Europe book Dog Sled at the moment, after that it’s back to the Hades Helmet world and beyond that Tartan and *holds head* soooo many project. I still have to write the next Pixie book (there’s like 5 books in the series) anyway but something tugged at my mind now that the LRC Awards are over. Promo and the impact on authors in contests and sales.

I have questions for you wonderful, lovely, patient readers. Answer a few questions and you could win a mini cooler bag of goodies and books that I got at the Authors After Dark Con and chocolate!

1) How much promo is too much? Example: Seeing an author’s name and promo for the same book every day on every loop you belong to -vs- Seeing an author’s name once and promo for certain time period.

As for NaNoWriMo, I managed to get 46k in word count, so I’m pretty happy about that. I made a lot of headway with two of my WIPs. One of them is close to being 60k, the most I’ve ever written. I’ll be deleting the NaNoWriMo page since it’s over. I hope if you’re an aspiring author or published author that you made the word count you wanted.

One of my favorite movies is The Princess Bride. I could sit there and watch it ten times in a row and never tire of it. It has everything I could ever want romance, action, adventure, comedy all rolled into one. To me it is the perfect comfort or date movie. Plus, Cary Elwes (Wesley) my first ever movie star crush is in it. Just adored him and who wouldn’t want a hero like Weslely? I know I would, loyal to a fault and when he came back to Buttercup (Robin Wright) there was some bad ass mixed in there. *Grin*

So my question is what is your Essential Romantic story? What is that one book, movie or song that to you just screams ROMANCE!

NaNoWriMo update:

I managed to do 17k this week. *Big Grin* Just a little bit more and I can make the 50k goal I aimed for.

Hi Everyone!

I wish you all a Happy, Healthy and Safe Halloween/Samhain. As you’ve noticed, if you’ve been to the site before, the website got a make over. A few things were taken out, the front page is a bit cleaner and a forum and NaNoWriMo page has been added.?I’m still trying to decide what to do about the web ring surf things, until them, they’ll remain on the front page. There may be a few pages that I will delete, as they may not serve a purpose anymore or I don’t have time to update them. Not sure yet. Hopefully the forum will be up and ready for you guys soon. *Grin*

I just want to say a Big THANK YOU to my fabulous webmistress Celia Kyle who worked her butt off and put up with my many nitpicks to get it just so.

Now onto something fun: Authors After Dark Convention.

I had such an awesome time. I just want to thank Stella, Jacki and Bianca for their hard work. The Convention was amazing and I had such a blast. I got to meet some wonderful authors and readers. I should post piccies when I do the?official?AAD write up soon.

I do have some good news though, my story Seducing a Wallflower has been offered a contract and I’ve accepted it. As soon as I can, I will post more details. I’m so excited!

Look three blogs in one month, wow! LOL.?A few things, first Changeling Press has contracted my next Dawg Town Story called First Snow which will deal with Robbie and Kitty. *Grin*

My writer’s block is over. Yaaaay, I’m so happy. I’ve also started a new story which I hope to finish soon and have turned into my editor ASAP. Just been dealing with a few things lately. Buut, I will be at the Authors After Dark Convention the 23rd-24th. I hope to see you there. It looks like it’s going to be an awesome gathering.

I’m putting together two bags as prizes. The first one is a pink plaid weekender bag filled with print books, promo and some awesome stuff. The other bag is a beachy/tote bag filled with promo, print books and stuffed animals. *Grin*. Hopefully I can get some cool swag at the Con to give away to you guys.

I just turned in my first round of edits for Pixie and finished up Catering to Hayley. *Grin* Now I get to work on tweaking Fallen Lover, then Justice Unbound and after that Her Chaos Dragon and then White Russian. I’m tired and we’re only in day 5 of the New Year.
