Series Spotlight
Hi everyone! I’m here with Stella Price and they have agreed to be in the hot seat examining the Duvall Inc. series. Shall we get the interrogation, erm, I mean Q&A going? Enjoy!

1- What is your series about? Where did the idea come from? This one is about a Royal Djinn, or genie, and the Assassin that becomes his consort. Since she’s an Assassin, Theres a lot of stories that come our way because of it, and Marsh, well Marsh uses every opportunity to open Janey up to new experiences, most of them quite naughty and kinky.

The Series started with Marsh, or I should say, when Marsh showed up one night in my head, demanding a story and a hot “piece” (his words not mine). I wrote a short for him, and he demanded more. So, the Duvall Inc. Series started. Since starting we have been in a couple cool places around the world because of Marsh: Rome, Beijing, Africa, Austria…

2- What order should the books be read? As such: Wishbound (in e book it would be Wishes and Glamour), Gifts (E book would be Gifts) and London for the Holidays (Same in e book).

3- What is the best thing about writing a series? The worst thing? The best thing? Revisiting the characters and getting to know them a lot better. The worst: I don’t think I can find something that is bad about the series, maybe that everything has to stay fluid.

4- What characters surprised you? Which ones were hard to write? Marsh always surprises me and is always hard to write because he’s very dominant. When he’s on a tangent, I can’t stop the scene till he’s done with his tirade. He’s seriously a very powerful character.

5- What moments in the series are you favorite, i.e. hero and heroine meeting for the first time, fight scene, the first love scene, etc.,? I think When Marsh sells Jane in an auction in Beijing and when Janey meets Marsh’s parents for the first time. Very amusing.

6- Who from your series would you love to sit down and interview? OMG I don’t think either of the main characters, I mean I talk to them all the time. Maybe Trent, or Kolo, but I know them all really well.

7- Was it hard to get the series under the same publisher? If it’s not under the same publisher what made you want to sub the rest of the books for the series to a new publisher other than rejection? No this series is with one publisher and they have been super supportive with everything for this series.

8- Pick two of your least fav characters, who would win in a fight? What? I’m not trying to start trouble. *blinks innocently* I don’t think we have least favorites for this or any of our series. We just don’t hate anyone who shows up to hangout and work with us you know?

9- If you could do a spin-off of this series who would take the lead and what would it be about? Would there be different elements from the original series or the same? Actually we do have one. We have the spin off story, London for the Holidays, which takes place parallel to Gifts and the story The Soft Edge of Midnight is a story that happens after the end of Gifts… Everything we write interacts with other books we have.

10- What subject would you love to write a series about? What subject would make the worst series idea? We pretty much have been writing everything we want to write about or we have stuff in the works to be written. So I’m not sure we have a wish list because we are always developing stuff.

You can provide blurbs, buy links and excerpts for each book from the series or just the latest book if you wish. Thank You for participating in my Q&A.

GIFTS:
The holidays are a time for giving, so when Marsh decides to give Jane a real Christmas, complete with family and friends, he never expected everything to go haywire. Meeting his family is only part of the problem.
His parents, the reigning royalty of his race, are going to be a surprise to Jane, but no more so then his station as crown prince, a fact he had kept hidden from her till now. Throw in a conniving princess that contracts his death, an engagement ring and his quirky and outlandish parents, and Marsh has his hands full, just presenting Jane as his consort.
Two days before Christmas, Trent Duvall, Janey’s Silent partner in the assassin syndicate shows in Austria and informs them of the fact that a special member of the Duvall inner circle has gone AWOL, and its up to Jane and Marsh to help him get him back. With the help of Malcolm Frost and a few choice friends, Trent and Marsh leave Jane in Austria and go to Africa to retrieve their family member, and usurp the position of a murderous and insane Fallen Angel.
And you thought your holidays were stressful.
