    1) It would be nice to be able to preorder.

    2) Sometimes do just to remind me that I haven’t bought them or that I’m still waiting for those to be published.

    1. I usually don’t pre-order books. I usually wait until it comes out.

    2. I have used wish lists for my ebooks on one site. For others, I just check periodically or I am already aware of a particular book being available as I tend to keep up with my favorite authors.

    I recently pre-ordered a book.
    I forgot where I pre-ordered it and
all the information about it. I didn’t write it down anywhere. My BAD. But I will never pre-order a book again unless it is guaranteed to be sent to me without anything else on my part.
No, I don’t do wish lists, I just buy my books.

    1. Yes, I’ll buy if preordering is available but in the long run it doesn’t make a difference. If it’s a book that I want, I’ll buy it when available.

    2. Yes, I use wish lists to keep track of the books that I want to read.

To answer your questions: a) I don’t generally pre-order a book, I just buy it if it looks interesting; and b) I don’t use wish lists personally, but I can see where they can come in handy for keeping track of books you might be interested in buying.

    1. No, probably not for e-books. Too uncertain on release date, most of the time.
2 Yes, most definitely. Since I can’t read or afford all the books I want to read, making wish lists helps me remember which books I still need to read.
It’s a good selling point to have wish lists. When they are not available I tend to forget about the books I want to read and if I cannot remember, I cannot buy.
